The FREYA pillow cover is created from a hand dyed piece of Hmong textile from Thailand.  Coming from the Hmong Hill Tribe in Thailand, these fabrics are traditionally used in ceremonial dress (among other uses) and feature cross-stitching, indigo dyeing and batik printing.  FREYA has an indigo background with an off-white geometric batik design.

These textiles are perfectly imperfect and that’s why I love them so much.  Due to the hand crafted nature of this textile, no two pillows are alike and imperfections such as dye streaks, slubs and other natural blemishes may be visible. These details truly add to the beauty and uniqueness of the fabric!

FREYA works in a variety of design styles - from farmhouse to global - and looks beautiful paired with our UMA mudcloth.

The front fabric is cotton Hmong fabric.  The back fabric is 100% linen in flax/oatmeal.  The cover features serged seams and an exposed brass zipper closure.

//  NOTE:

  • This listing is for the cover only, an insert is NOT included.

  • Vintage and handmade fabrics can sometimes be delicate, so please use care when inserting the pillow.  I like to fold the insert in half and shimmy it into the cover.
